Earlier this year, I wrote a post about why introverts are the best networkers. One of our subscribers loved the piece, and asked me when I was going to write something about extroverts from which he and other introverts could learn. At first, I didn’t think it was a good idea because everyone assumes that extroverts are naturally gifted sales people. It’s like writing a piece entitled “Five reasons tall people are better basketball players”. Not only is it obvious, but there isn’t much that short people can do. Who would read it?
Then it hit me … introverts would read it. Many introverted sales people think the outgoing socialites can be annoying and over bearing. They embrace their quiet nature, and believe that their success is because of their cerebral process, not their personality. However, what if you could offer your customers intelligence and an outgoing demeanor? There are many extroverted behaviors that introverted sales people should adopt, and I’ve shared four in this piece.
