What is one supposed to post on September 11th? Not sure, but here is an attempt.

911memorial

I’m sitting here on September 4th trying to write my blog posts for next week.  I have to admit, I don’t really know what to write.  Fridays are “light sales tips” days.  I don’t know, I feel kind of silly writing about anything on September 11th.  Half of me thinks I should move forward as always because that’s the productive thing to do.  About a quarter of me thinks I shouldn’t write anything.  The other quarter is just typing right now without thinking.

If I post this – whatever it turns out to be – I’ll post it because I think one reader might remember 9/11.  That’s the only reason.  We can’t forget that day.  Regardless of our political or moral opinions of each other, all of us must remember the evil nature that caused the darkness on our country that day … on our existence that day.  Yes, evil.  Regardless of what terror organization they’re part of today, they’re evil.  These people murder children.  These people are evil.

Some want to deal with these terrorists in a manner in which we deal with people of other civil cultures in the world.  These people are evil – they murder children.  These people don’t respond in a way that we’re used to.  They murder children.  The best way to realize how evil they are is to remember that day.

Since we’re on our 14th anniversary and the intensity decreases every year, please use this day as a reminder.  I’m not going to offer my opinion on how we need to combat these terror organizations … partly because I’m not an expert in this area and partly because it’s not the point of this post.  I just want to make sure you don’t forget that day.  When you’re responding to an opinion on terror or when you’re in the voting booth, let this anniversary remind you of the evil nature of those people who hate us.
