I was at a dinner recently with fellow members of a board on which I serve.  During our conversation, I heard a common theme…

  • “All she gave up was her daily pre-dinner cocktail, and she’s lost almost 20 pounds.”
  • “If I could ask President Trump to change one thing, I’d ask him to stop Tweeting.”
  • “I stopped lifting weights, and my shoulder feels 100% better.” 

People typically talk about what they did or added to their lives to find improvement; but this group kept talking about things that should be stopped.  Since I use this blog to write about what you should be doing differently, it got me thinking: what should sales people stop doing?
