I read an article recently that declared the top 10 mistakes we make when delivering a sales demonstration. All 10 mistakes were obvious – show up on time, tailor to the customer’s needs, stress benefits rather than features, etc. It was a decent article that served as a nice refresher, and the author was an entertaining story teller; but I didn’t really learn anything. So, I challenged myself to think of errors we make when giving demonstrations that no one ever thinks about. What can I offer my subscribers that no other speaker or trainer is talking about?
