In last Tuesday’s post, we discussed the number one reason that we don’t generate more new business: We spend most of our time in reactive mode, and finding new business is a result of 100% proactive behavior. As I stated last week, there are two primary reasons that we’re reactive:
- No one reminds us to be proactive.
- Prospecting in proactive mode is very hard.
These were the challenges, but what about the solution? Sometimes a blog post doesn’t allow enough room to provide a complete story, so I had to hold you in suspense until this Tuesday to unveil the four-step plan to shift from reactive to proactive mode, and generate new customers.
